How many Cholesterol points does Honey Nut Cheerios lower?

The commercial says if you eat the cereal your cholesterol will get lowered. Let's say if your cholesterol is 240 points, how many points would it lower it?

I don't know, Honey Nut Cheerios would have to provide that information and they don't say ……… I have read on the internet that quitting smoking decreases bad cholesterol by 10 %.
